It looks as if winter has found us! Sparty even has his coat on! The next few weeks will fly by, and there is still plenty to do. Keep our Christmas party in mind, and our Christmas concert, which is December 10th. We are nearing the end of 2nd quarter, so keep up those grades and turning in the work that is assigned!

This is my favorite time of year. The leaves begin to change, and the air gets that crispness to it. It is dark earlier, so I finally get caught up on a little sleep. We will be going outside for science for a few times, but only once this week. We've been fortunate to have good weather, however, that is likely to change as we get closer to winter. There are several things going on this week--including an evening with a "magic storyteller" that you'll want to hear, and an assembly for our awards on Thursday! (Both on Thursday). As always, please feel free to contact me any time you have questions. I'm tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and it's never too late if you'd wish to have your child stay for tutoring until 4:00. This is the first time I remember having a rainy day on Halloween! We made the best of it, however, and I think it was a success! Thank you for your help with our breakfast buffet!!! It was very well received, and I think an idea that we may keep! Here are the four of us being "Social media icons" for the occasion! I will include pictures of our day on a page titled Halloween. We packed a lot into a short amount of time, and I think the children enjoyed the day! Please let me know if you have any feedback about our events. I will be putting grades in this week. We've been so busy with finishing our first quarter work that I've yet to put in new grades but those will be coming. Thank you again, for letting me work with your children! |
AuthorI am Mrs. Jackson. I have been teaching fourth grade for many years now, and I love teaching! I am excited to work with your children, and hopeful that we will be working as a team to promote a successful year in fourth grade. Me in 4th grade.
