With Thanksgiving behind us (still full of turkey and trimmings) it's time to go back to school and plow through the rest of second quarter. Hard to believe that it's barrelling toward the end of the first half of fourth grade! The next month will go by quickly! I will remind students to do their best work so they finish first semester strong! If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me at any time.

I love most everything about Thanksgiving! It's the beginning of the holiday season, and the house smells wonderful with all the food cooking. There's also spending the day with family. Even cleaning up the kitchen is worth it! WE will be working on graded work this week, even though it is a short week for us at school. Your students won't have homework, probably, but please have them there each day so there isn't make up work to worry with. I wish each of my families a wonderful holiday, and holiday season. Starting with Thanksgiving! This is my dog, Spartacus. He visited our classroom on Friday, and was happy to meet all my children. Here he is standing on my desk---but he spent a lot of the time roaming around and being attended to by children! Please check out pictures of this visit on my Hey, Kids page. November is a busy month, and will get away quickly! Please continue to help your child with those multiplication facts, and watch for progress reports later in the month! |
