In the week ahead, we will be having a math test over our division chapter on Thursday. Please help your child prepare for this test. Most of my students have gotten the skill mastered, but some still need some extra help.
If you missed the donkey basketball game on Monday night, you missed a fun outing! These two finely attired riders are both sons of mine, Tim, and Andrew--who rode donkeys during the game! Well, sometimes they were riding donkeys. These little donkeys seemed to know how to dismount their riders!

Here we are at the assembly on Friday. It was a nice time. Our children were so well behaved! As we begin another week, please remember to sign in at the office if you come to the school. You are welcome, but even if we know you, we are asking that ALL visitiors sign in for safety purposes. Thank you for doing so! WE'VE enjoyed a very mild winter so far, but things can change quickly. I'm sure you already know but cancelation dates will change our schedule. If a test is planned, it will likely still be given, even if a day is missed. That's just an extra day to study! I hope the robo calls worked for everyone last Thursday. Also, please adhere to our policy of checking in at the office prior to coming down the halls to our classrooms. This is a safety feature to help make our schools safe for your children. Even if we've known you for years, we're still asking EVERYONE who comes into our building to stop by the office and sign in and recieve a visitor's pass before continuing on into the building! We appreciate your compliance to this rule. Thank you! Here's a photo of the snow from my front door. I hope everyone enjoyed the time off, and the surprise snow. At least we didn't get that blizzard! As we return to school, I have a favor to ask of my parents. Due to concerns for our children's safety, PLEASE check in at the office if you stop by the school. You are welcome to stop by the school any time, but presently our policy is to have all visitors check in at the office, and get a visitors' pass before continuing into the building to come to our room, or pick up your child. These safety precautions are for the safety of our children, so again, please wait for your child by the office, if you are picking them up after school, and please check in so that office staff are aware that you're in the building. If you are in our building, and you are asked about your purpose there, please understand that this is only to provide the safest environment for our children. Thank you very much for complying with our policy. |
