Enjoy the holiday break!
It's hard to believe that we have already completed three weeks of school! Fourth grade is doing well getting into our routine. Thank you to those who have gotten in touch with me and sent in emails so that I can contact you about your child. I will send information as necessary, and please feel free to contact me. I will respond as soon as I possibly can.
Enjoy the holiday break!

Several students have returned forms with parent email addresses for me. Please send in your address, if you don't mind to be contacted by email. If you do not use email, that is not a problem, I will contact you by regular notes home. Thank you for letting me work with your children.
I'm so excited to announce that all of my students returned their homework completed this morning!! That is wonderful! No homework today, but your child will have a form requesting an email address. Please note that though the form also requests a child's email, I WILL NOT be emailing any of my students, as I can talk with them in class, so I do not need a student address--just a parent one. Thank you!!!!!
HOMEWORK went home tonight! Each of my students should have his or her math workbook, and are responsible for completing page 1 problems # 1-8. Homework is due first thing tomorrow morning!
Also, I'm looking for email addresses so that I might communicate with you quickly about your child via email. If you have an email address that you check fairly often, and would be willing to correspond with me this way, please send me an email at : [email protected] Thank you! The first day of fourth grade is over! I think we had a good time, and there's many more of those to come! Outside our room is this class list that shows each student's self portrait and has his or her name. (I cheated and had an artist draw me!) If you get a chance to come by, check this out! I'm pretty tired, but I am happy to be back at school and I hope your child had a great day! I'm always surprised at the end of summer that another school year is about to begin! I'm not sure why that happens, but tomorrow I go back to work, and Wednesday I will have a new class. I hope my students are as excited as I am about a new school year! So many things to learn, and things to do! I am always glad to see my coworkers again, and with this enthusiasm, I will greet my students who come to Open House on Monday evening! In fact, I have surprises for those who visit me at Open House! I'm very excited (may not feel the same about 5:30 a.m.) but nevertheless---great things to come!
